Virtual Flowers

Here is a web site that has quite a few links to other web sites that specialize in sending virtual flowers: http://members.tripod.com/~cheriny/index.html We have not been able to investigate these sites to determine if they are free or if there is a fee. However, if you go to one of them, they will tell you before you order whether there is a charge for the service.

There are also numerous sites available to order fresh flowers to be delivered. Some of these same sites linked in the above page offer both services. There will be a charge for the ordering and deliver of fresh flowers.

As with the electronic greeting cards, you will need to know the recipient’s Email address. In most cases you will also be able to type in a message to accompany the virtual flowers. You will also be able to view the virtual bouquet and message before it is sent, and usually be given an opportunity to make any changes.

Since there is such a wide variety of these sites and they all have their own formats and forms, we will not be including any examples in this document. But most are very easy to use. Once you make your selection of what you want to send, all you have to do is fill in a form on the screen of who it is to go to and any message you want. You will also be asked, in almost all cases, for your name and Email address as well. This will let the recipient know who it is from, and in most cases the site sending the greeting will notify you that it has been received.
